Role Title: Channel Effectiveness and Digital Innovation Manager
Therapy Area: Cardiovascular
Package: Negotiable basic salary circa 50-78,000 car allowance and comprehensive reward package
Location: Berkshire/Buckinghamshire - Full time, office based role, with some travel required across the UK

As the Channel Effectiveness and Digital Innovation Manager you will work within a matrix organisation, in order to develop customer centric tactics aligned to channel preferences in agreement with Brand Leads. You will pioneer novel approaches appropriate to brand and customer objectives that will provide a competitive advantage. In addition you will ensure that a brand focus facilitates a customer centric approach.
This role involves collaboration throughout the organisation and externally to meet brand and corporate objectives and to gather internal and external insights. In addition you will maximise principles of Key Account Management and matrix working to drive organisational success.

Accountabilities:
Accountable for the management of costs versus budget for agreed projects and proactively identifies/escalates any variances to the Marketing Director.
Customer Centric Commercial Planning and implementation
Collaborates throughout the organisation and externally to meet brand and corporate objectives and to gather internal and external insights
Leadership to optimise performance
Ensuring that both personal and cross functional team expertise of market, competitors and brand clinical data is maintained to enable effective decision-making.
Project Management Expertise

Qualifications

Essential: ABPI and Full driving license and flexibility to travel when necessary Desirable: Degree level education (or equivalent) CIM qualified.

Person experience required

Essential: Significant experience of brand management across a range of brands, therapy areas and customer groups. Demonstrable success in a variety of channels, including integrated digital platforms Previous success of influencing and leading teams without direct line management responsibility. Competent user of Microsoft Office software products. Advanced team working, communication, engagement and presentation skills. Degree level education (or equivalent), preferably life sciences. Broader line management experience across related functions - for example, sales management. Desirable: Experience of working in the relevant therapeutic market(s). Previous responsibility for multiple brands at the same time and the need for portfolio planning and investment decisions. International marketing experience. Development of a broad network of professional contacts both in the UK and other international markets.
