This is a great opportunity if you are an experienced Data Analyst with superior Excel skills, including writing macros and transformation of data and you love building bespoke dashboards in Tableau, or a similar BI tool along with using your excellent skills in SSMS for data manipulation/cleaning, relational databases and simple forms. You're experienced in manipulating and analysing large numerical and text-based data sets and transforming them into standardised, user friendly format. You have strong knowledge of common statistical methods and are keen to develop initiatives for providing more efficient bespoke tools in Excel and Tableau.

Providing web-based software applications that enable Life Sciences companies to effectively manage their sales, marketing and medical resources and collaborate with healthcare providers to provide better outcomes both commercially and for patients.
Responsibilities:
As a Data Analyst you will cover a wide range of analytical activity to provide high quality insight and information reporting to a variety of clients.
You will be working with a small team responsible for providing a high-quality data service, based on structured and ad-hoc requirements from a variety of sources, with both internal and external customers.

The services provided are vast, everything from producing reporting for management, extracting healthcare contact data from our core systems to meet client need, through to providing collaborative quality assurance support to your colleagues.

There is also a lot of collaboration with our in-house project management team and other stakeholders to deliver accurate and timely solutions to client problems, as well as processing and maintaining internal changes as necessary to our core products used by our clients.

The Data Services team in Basildon has developed a reputation for efficient, accurate service for both internal and external customers. Youll be a key cog in that process, and as such will be pivotal to the success of the Operations team.



Qualifications

Educated to degree standard in a relevant subject.

Person experience required

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to meet deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy. Ability to follow set procedures. Ability to take ownership for a task and be accountable for its outcome. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Proven task management experience in a pressured environment. Knowledge of creation and running of Microsoft SQL queries Knowledge of analytical functions within Excel and Access Knowledge of the NHS Other desirable experience and knowledge: Experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare/medical technology industries Knowledge of the company's business activities and healthcare related data. Knowledge of CRM systems SQL Server SSIS and SSRS SNAP Surveys or other survey platform Tableau or similar business intelligence/visualisation software
