The Head of Marketing Ostomy Care reports directly in to the Marketing Director and has marketing leadership responsibility for Ostomy Care (OC) - the largest subsidiary in the UK business. In this role you will lead the OC Marketing Team, coaching and developing to ensure the team is high performing and that talent development plans are in place.
Responsibility for all aspects of OC marketing strategy and execution across both HCP and Consumer channels and responsible for National Sales Meeting planning and execution.
You will collaborate across local and global teams to ensure cross-functional buy-in and ownership of strategy and initiatives. In addition you will direct and develop brand strategies to optimise revenue, margin and market share, consistent with global strategy.
As an experienced marketing professional you will also lead marketing efforts including pricing, market analysis, product improvements, new product launches and oversee effective channel and salesforce strategies, educational programmes and key opinion leader management.
The successful candidate will be a proven leader within healthcare marketing and will be able to demonstrate expert communication skills with the ability to inspire through clear and precise written and verbal communication.



Qualifications

BS/BA in business, marketing or health sciences

Person experience required

Experienced marketing professional with over 7 years experience in marketing, a healthcare focus is essential A proven leader, with a strong track record of achieving through a team, and of developing team members to their potential Able to interpret, manage and communicate complex data, and helps others lead and use that data Leverages analytical skills to make decisions that grow the business and increase marketing effectiveness Articulates complex viewpoints and arguments with clarity and purpose, with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation including top management Practices regular and constructive feedback, and accepts feedback readily Develops new thinking to market approaches and potential opportunities, and shapes long-term strategy Is able to quickly, clearly and concisely make strategic recommendations with supporting rationale Is a trusted partner with all levels of the sales team, convincing and inspiring sales to follow marketing and brand vision Develops strategic vision for stakeholder management to ensure they are fully leveraged in support of long-term business objectives Develops the Annual Business Plan (ABP) to reflect strategy, and takes responsibility for implementing plans that deliver on the ABP Takes the initiative and is a self-starter
