Health Economics Manager (FTC). Exciting new opportunity working for a market leading MedTech company.

Role: Health Economics Manager (FTC)
Therapy Area: Chronic Care - Bladder, Bowel and Stoma Care
Location: This is a home-based role with travel approx. 3-4 days per month, typically to Head Office in Peterborough (the successful candidate should be prepared to be at Head office for up to 4 days a week for their first month in the business as part of their induction).
Salary: Highly competitive basic salary, private health and additional benefits

This role is to cover a period of maternity leave, for a period of approx. 12 months

Role Type: Health Economist

This is an exciting new opportunity to work as a Health Economics Manager UKIre, this role reports to the Head of Market Access.

In this role you will:
Be a critical member of a highly skilled and motivated team working to obtain reimbursement and access for innovative Chronic Care products in the UK and Ireland.
Using health economic arguments, you will be working to ensure optimal pricing and reimbursement for the product portfolio for UK reimbursement agencies and local health care payers and will lead on health economic value arguments and tools to support the Strategic Sales team create optimal access for the Companys product and services.
You will also represent the UK on Global development of pipeline products and appropriate data generation and argumentation through health economics.
This role will work in close collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders in the UK and Ireland and with the Global Market Access team.

The client is the Market Leading MedTech company in the UK providing intimate healthcare products and services operating across Ostomy Care, Continence Care, Urology Care and Wound and Skin Care markets. The business is a global organisation developing and marketing products to hospitals, primary care, wholesalers and retailers as well as directly to consumers (homecare). With a strong record of product and service innovation they work in close partnership with the NHS and healthcare professionals to support and drive the best clinical solutions and services to patients.

Qualifications

Essential: MSc or PhD in Health Economics.

Person experience required

Deep understanding of economic concepts relevant to UK HTA. Experience conducting research studies that apply health economics, patient-reported outcomes, retrospective and prospective data analyses, registry, epidemiology or health services research. Expert insight and knowledge in Health economics and model development. Skilled in translating complex economic concepts into simple language. Good understanding of current UK health care system and market access issues. Demonstrated experience of project management. Strong numeric skills. Scientific/medical knowledge. A commercial mindset.
