This is a great opportunity for an experienced senior professional from the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry with account management experience to work in an Account Director type role.
As a Key Account Director you will be responsible for and accountable for specific clients across the business. You will work with sales specialists, service, operations and product innovation teams to meet client, revenue and business objectives. In addition you will position the business as a leading healthcare insights company supporting colleagues to achieve their account objectives by identifying potential business leads and opportunities
The Key Account Director grows revenue through leveraging the full product portfolio and identifying new business opportunities, subscription services and ideas for innovation thorough client intelligence. Provides the key client relationships to existing and new customers with senior executives and strategic leaders in client organisations. Co-ordinates sales, service, delivery, roll out of services and product innovation to ensure effective execution against client needs and business revenue targets. Develops strategy for expanding scope of existing contracts and identifying new business opportunities.

Understanding the key priorities of the clients and the effective communication of their business issues internally within the business
Translating these to fit to the solutions approach and make recommendations regarding the internal approach required.
Understands the clients strategic, operational and tactical needs at multiple stakeholder levels and manages multiple priorities and complex relationships.
Actively promotes the full portfolio of products and services to anticipate and meet client needs.
Translates the strategy of the client, pharmaceutical industry and NHS and make recommendations regarding the strategic direction of the business offering
This role involves a combination of field and office based with client visits expected to take place 2-3 days per week. Meetings at other offices may be required. The nature of the role requires flexibility and you may be required to work additional hours to service clients requirements and some extended travel/overnight stays may be required
