This is a sales representative/medical representative type role covering both primary and secondary care and is suitable for a graduate looking to break in to pharmaceutical sales.

With a continued focus on the development of their pharmaceutical portfolio and salesforce expansion, an opportunity has arisen for a Key Account Specialist. Their portfolio is currently aimed at Dermatology and the treatment and prevention of a range of common Bone Disorders, such as osteoporosis and vitamin D3 deficiency.
this role you will have the opportunity to sell across primary and secondary care. Successful applicants will understand the changes that are taking place in the NHS will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the key principles of account management. You will be also be able to demonstrate the ability to build effective business relationships with key customers groups which will include GPs, Practice Nurses, Retail Pharmacists and Hospital doctors. Above all you will demonstrate tenacity, drive, energy and enthusiasm.
To be accountable for the delivery of territory sales targets and key performance indicators.
To deliver effective, compelling sales calls and presentations.
To compile, monitor, deliver and review the territory business plan in close liaison with the RBM and NHS Liaison Manager.
To demonstrate understanding of the national and local healthcare system and how it impacts on territory potential.
To demonstrate full understanding of product strategies, therapy knowledge, key competitors, marketing plan and communication objectives.
To develop long term business relationships through regular contact with relevant customers to maximise business opportunities in both the primary and secondary care sectors.
To develop local level opinion leaders and speakers and co-ordinate speaker meetings and symposia to enhance brand perception and product usage.
To routinely feedback local competitor and market intelligence to RBM, NHS Liaison Manager and Marketing teams.
