With a continued focus on the development of their pharmaceutical portfolio and salesforce expansion, an opportunity has arisen for a Regional Business Manager.
The Regional Business Manager is a key leadership position which reports into the Head of NHS Sales. In this role the successful candidate will ensure the delivery of national and regional targets for the dermatology product portfolio through development and implementation of a regional business plan, in line with the national strategy. Effectively prioritise and maximise identified growth opportunities, within the geographical area of responsibility, through effective utilisation and management of promotional resource. Is accountable for the management, development and cross functional working of a regional team of Key Account Specialists.
In addition you collaborate with relevant internal colleagues and deploy regional resources appropriately to ensure regional environments are in favour of all promoted brands and local health economies are optimally resourced to ensure delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
Fully accountability for the regional sales targets and spend budgets
To construct, present and agree with the Head of Sales the financial objectives, promotional strategy and tactics for the Region as part of the business planning process.
To be accountable for the delivery of the regional plan across the assigned portfolio of products, working with other field teams, their line management and Head Office functions.
To monitor and review the regional business plan, proactively making adjustments in line with insights taken from robust data analysis to ensure that business goals are achieved.
Coach and support the regional team via field visits, business reviews and performance appraisals in order to drive tangible progress with personal development plans and overall performance.
To lead the region in leveraging support for products/ideas/projects across a local health economy and to contribute to the development and mobilisation of local and national brand advocates.
To manage and provide leadership to direct reports as required to deliver the business plan; including motivating team members, aligning their activities with business plan and performance managing their activities.
To monitor, manage and be accountable for regional expenditure and resource in line with the team budget.
To work collaboratively with other field teams and Head Office functions to integrate working practices and differentiate the company effectively to leverage maximum value for both the company and the NHS.
To maintain a detailed knowledge of national policy objectives/drivers and apply this to identify opportunities for growing the business at a Regional level.
To ensure that all company admin processes, knowledge management and CRM systems are maintained and delivered in accordance with company standards and to ensure that business plans and objectives are transparent to the Senior Leadership Team
To possess a thorough understanding of the provisions of the APBI Code of Practice and internal SOPs, to ensure that the Companys image and reputation is never jeopardised by irresponsible or unethical conduct.
