Our client is an innovative and trusted manufacturer and supplier of specialised procedure packs and vascular access devices to hospitals across the world.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated self-starter to work in a highly autonomous role within the Vascular Access division. You will be a strong team player with an eye for detail, flair for creativity, new ideas and solutions and a fast learner with the ability to familiarise yourself with new therapeutic areas and compounds quickly

Reporting to the UK National Sales Manager, you will have direct interaction with product National Business Development Manager and forge effective relationship with our clients Vascular Access representatives in the field.

Main purpose of the role:
Achieve sales targets; Achieve KPIs; Prepare for new products; Embed Core product range into patient pathways; Development of protocols/guidelines; Develop local KOLs for all indications

Key Responsibilities:
Promote and sell product(s) by influencing customer opinion (prescribing, non -prescribing and commercial).
Provide regular progress on performance, preparing customer call plans and SMART call objectives
Work to achieve business objectives and deliver results with a short /medium term operational focus by preparing and maintaining business plans.
Achieve expected levels of activity across customer groups.
Responsible for upholding the professional image of the organisation at all times.
Develop and maintain records of all customer and territory information, abiding by GDPR legislation at all times.
Measures return on investment of resourcing decisions and keeps within budget.
Monitor market trends, competitor products and customer need to identify new SMART business objectives and provide timely feedback to all relevant internal stakeholders.
Independently stays abreast of latest information in therapy area and maintains a high standard on training programmes and knowledge assessments.
Design and implement a Key Account Management strategy for territory to deliver the required performance of the accounts.
Support sharing best practice across the sales team.
Provide market access expertise to ensure timely and appropriate uptake of product brands.

Qualifications

Full UK drivers licence - essential ABPI - desirable

Person experience required

Minimum 3 years sales experience Proven sales track record in pharmaceuticals and/or medical devices Proven secondary care experience Have existing working relationships across the London/South East hospital trusts Able to demonstrate a sound understanding of the NHS Display knowledge of health economic tools Ability to interact effectively and influence all levels of internal and external personnel Ability to prioritise work, pay attention to detail and successfully complete tasks on time. Ability to build solid partnership with stakeholders involved in decision making process within health care for patient access. Competent in critical appraisal of data & evidence based medicine Strong analytical skills and ability to assimilate and simplify complex data, through a Key Account Management approach Possess a strong sense of responsibility, and have a good track record of working independently and meeting sales targets Flexible, adaptable and proactive Desirable: Experience in launching and/or promoting renal/TPN and/or Oncology products is desirable Understanding of how drugs are funded within the NHS
