This is a great opportunity to join an established world leading healthcare company as a Sales and Customer Support Specialist. The position of Sales and Customer Support Specialist sits within the Infectious Disease and Cardiometabolic Business Unit.

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Sales and Customer Support Specialist. In this role you will be responsible for all commercial activities through the sales cycle from creating and following up leads, to generating opportunities, selling and preparation and submission of quotes. Post quote follow up is a critical part of this role ensuring long term relationships are built and growth of our product portfolio.
Direct telephone selling of core focus products is a daily requirement of this role.
You will provide support to sales representatives in the field and to deal with customers and contribute to good customer relationships and enable the field sales team to spend more time selling.

You will be an effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to achieve results through influencing others, with a demonstrated ability to maintain positive people relationships and build strong links with all departments, possessing flexibility and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-changing environment and ambiguous situations.
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
Responsibility for the development of new market potential within our existing accounts
Retaining close customer contact to ensure a long-term building of customer relationships and satisfaction
Actively sell our core focus products by phone
Monitoring existing key customer accounts to ensure forecast accuracy, timely sharing of information to sales team of risks and opportunities
Liaising with the Sales Team and providing support as required
Booking appointments with customers for the sales team Key Accounts and new opportunity areas
Delivering against a sales target
Updating and logging all calls on the customer database
