This is an excellent opportunity to join a market leading company in Medical Device Sales.
This role sits in sales and reports into the Sales Director. As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and selling cutting-edge endoscopy products, specifically designed for urological procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical sales, a deep understanding of urology, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals.
The main purpose of the role is to lead the companys entry into the Endoscopy market, working in partnership with senior management to develop and execute the expansion into this new segment. The successful candidate will be someone excited by the challenge of bringing something new to market, crafting the strategy to build a sustainable and profitable business. The business will invest in this area significantly to drive success and require the right person to spearhead this. The role will have dotted line reporting into it, as we will utilise sales representatives from the existing structure in the short term. As the business expands, dedicated headcount would report into this role. The role involves significant Island of Ireland travel time in the field, supporting the sales team and engaging with customers through direct sales activities.
In this role you will:
Effectively promote and sell our urology endoscopy products to urologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed sales targets and market share in the urology segment.
Train and mentor Territory Managers to target Endoscopy growth.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in urology departments of hospitals and clinics.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities in the urology endoscopy space.
Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and potential customers.
Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for healthcare professionals to ensure a thorough understanding of the features and benefits of our endoscopy products.
Collaborate with healthcare institutions to organize workshops and educational events.
Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
The Client sells current product portfolio comprises capital and consumable products in and ICU, Theatre and Ward environment.
